Q: How do I apply for a .com.my domain name?
A: You can apply from our website or call (603) 7805-7911 to apply. You can also email us at sales@hostpro2u.com
Q: Can I apply for a second level domain name e.g. freenet.my?
A: MyNIC no longer accepts registration of second level .my names since 1995.
Q: Can a person register a .com.my domain name?
A: This is not allowed. You must have a company incorporated in Malaysia. Refer to MyNIC for more information..

Q: I would like to change my name servers (to Hostpro2u name servers). What should I do?
A: To modify the name servers for a .my domain you will need to do the following:
Administrative Contact must appoint Hostpro2u as Technical Contact (MyNIC handle CPB001050)
Inform us at support@hostpro2u.com once this is complete so we can make the name server changes for you

These changes can only be done via the web at MyNIC's website. If you don't know how to obtain your Administrative Contact User ID and Password from MyNIC, see below.
Q: I would like to change my name servers (to non Hostpro2u name servers). What should I do?
A: To modify the name servers for a .my domain you will need to do the following, Hostpro2u cannot make the changes for you:
Administrative Contact must appoint a new Technical Contact
New Technical Contact will then be able to set new name servers for your .my domain.
Q: I am the Technical / Administrative Contact for a .my domain. How do I obtain my User ID and Password?
A: You will need to contact MyNIC directly to obtain this information. MyNIC contact details can be found here .
